Hey everyone, this is a 1/72 scale Airfix Matilda tank i built. I painted it with paint brushes. As you can see, i also weathered it heavily and gave it some battle damage. It’s my best armor model yet, as i am still fairly new at this hobby. Please tell me what you think of it. Any comments are appreciated.

looks good to me. i did the same kit in basically the same paint scheme. i think the airfix kit is actually 1/76, not 1/72. i was fairly disappointed when i figured out i couldn’t set it side by side in scale with my other 1/72 stuff.

Goat is right about the scale. Most if not all airfix kits are 1/76 scale even though the box says 1/72 (jsut so you know[:)]).

I wish Italeri would rerelease the ESCI kit. The Airfix kit is 76th scale and I want a true 72nd scale version to mark in Malta markings for an airfield dio .
Thanks guys. I didn’t even realize that the airfix kits were 1/76 instead of the 1/72 they say they are. You would think they would correct that or make some kind of note. Hopefully the small difference will not effect the look of my dio with 1/72 figures, even if the scale is not exact.
