WW II French Armor camo question

OK, I broke down and forked over the money for the new Tamiya B1bis kit (among others [}:)]). As others have said already it is a beauty of a kit. It appears that early war French armor had as huge of a variety of camo colors if not more than late war German armor. So, are there any good sites with this info or does anyone know of what the colors used by the French army at that time were and what model paint colors on the market today are a good match? It appears their camo schemes are all hard edged so I am leaning toward Humbrols for hand brushing over a sprayed base coat.

Thanks in advance…

I’ve got the same kit in the bull pen, plan to start in a few weeks. I agree, this is one of Tamiya’s best.

I’m planning to use the silly putty method for masking the hard edged camo. I’ve tried it a few times on my “test turret” and on a Panther. It’s pretty easy and works great. You might want to consider it instead of brushing.
