Been to join a GB like this,and seeing as how there was none,I decided to make one.
The Rules:
1.Compatible with other GBs
2.Must be from WWII
3.Can be Fighter,Bomber,or even Transport
4.Any country
5.PE,AM,or Scratchbuild all ok
6.Cannot start before the start date
7.Have Fun!
Well I’ll join in as well. It’ll be my 1st! When does it end, because i’m sure i’ll have multiple entries if givien enough time! My 1st kit will be Accurate Miniatures P-51A, pretty much OOB except maybe some AM decals
No start/stop date yet? Well, maybe count me in. I been working on a B-24 for about a year now. So, I guess I should build something smaller. This would be my first one too. Tell us when the start/stop date will be. Sounds fun![8D]
I’d be interested in this one, although I’m REALLY slow at building anything mainly because I don’t get much time at my bench. I’ve got a wide choice of kits for this one, as my main interest is in WWII aircraft - usually the more unusual ones, but some mainstream.
Anyway - if you’ll have me onboard, I’ll nominate a 1/72nd Heinkel 177 Greif, with CMK resin cockpit, bomb-bay, wheel-wells & engine. What can I say? I’m addicted to AM goodies!
Not sure the start date matters - surely it is the end date that is significant - and anyway is it a hanging offence to run over??? Will decide on my choice of model shortly
Sounds like a great idea. I have a lot of kits of that era in my stash. I am considering my Tamiya F4F-4 with Eduard PE parts. OR… My Tamiya Gekko OOB… or …
The August start date is great as I still have to paint my “Fraternal Twins” (MS-406 and MS-410) and a whirly wing thing.
mikeiw-The end date will be far away from the start date,so even if your a slow builder,you can join.There is no badge yet [:(][B)].

I think I would like to try this one. I was going to build one last year for another group build, but like mikeiw, I don’t have much time to spend at the bench. My next start was going to be a P-38 Lightning, haven’t decided which virgin yet. (oops, I mean version)[;)]
