few months ago I have finished my latest project: model of MAN TGA with Meiller Kipper tipper.
The model is complete scratchbuilt. I made the plans by myself, with the help of computer. Pieces were cut and put together completely manually (without CNC machines). Model is made mainly from wood (beech, birch, maple wood, walnut). Complete number of all pieces is about 970. Measure of the model is 1:14, final dimensions are cca. 530x200x230 mm. The model has fully suspension with steel springs, steering with wooden cardan shaft, three way tipper and many other details. The model took me three years to build it (one year for constructing and drawing, two years for building it). Below you can see some of the pictures:
Now it is time for a new chalenge. My head is already full of ideas, I just need to decide. Probably it will be something a little bit easier, just for relaxation [:D]
