Wooden deck first timer, questions

Hey everyone, so i purchased my first wooden deck from Artwox for my 1/350 RN zara. This will be my first time attempting to put a wooden deck on one of my models.

I have read online that the artwox decks have a good backing and many times do not need additional glue to stick well to the plastic decking. However, if I were to need to use additional glue, what is the best to use? I have a couple tubes of slow zap CA glue, is that an okay glue to use?

Also, any other tips and tricks on laying down my first wooden deck? I have watched a few videos online to help guide me, but always value everyones opinion on here! Thanks.

I’m not much of a ship modeler but I started the 1/350 Minicraft Titanic a few years back and ordered the wood decks. I’ve been using Gorilla wood glue and every clamp I have

I second Gorilla wood glue.
I haven’t done a wood deck either, but will be at some point this winter and that’s what I’m going with based on online research and YouTube advice.

ETA: Having said that, the decks I have do not already have any glue or sticky surface on them. The backing is fleece.

Cheers,
Mark
