Until now I didn’t found a good combination of colors to paint the wood handles of shovels, hammers etc. Please help me[:(]

For handles I use Tamiya XF-10 flat brown. I then weather it along with the rest of the tank.
i usually paint the handles tan then dry brush a darker brown color over it to give an illusion of grain. then weather the eqipment once it’s on the vehicle
