Wonder how big his lego basket is....

Check out what this guy does with his legos:

I saw a MAZ 543-TEL built up out of Legos as well, but I can’t find the link. I’m just curious as to how many freaing lego blocks this guy goes through.
Amazing work though.

Really cool! Legos were my favourite toy as a kid, I guess models are just Legos with glue.

[#ditto] We visited the Legoland in Billund, Denmark many times when I was a kid. It gave me alot of inspiration for my models.
I am very proud that Lego is a Danish product [^][:D]

Legos were definitely my favourite as a kid, and now as modeler, I find them invaluable. I use lego’s all the time for constructing alignment jigs.

Here in Osaka is a HUGE model of Osaka Castle, done in Legos, presented to the city of Osaka by the Consulate General of Denmark.
Very impressive!

Whoa!! I loved Lego when I was a kid!! I’m seriously jealous of the totally funky Lego that we buy for my youngest daughter - man, they never made cool Lego like that whe I was a kid!!! At least I get to play with her Lego - we build all sorts of cool stuff. Her favorite is the space Lego - Mine too!!!

How much does Lego cost where you live?
I mean…I presume its cheapest here in Denmark because this is where its produced, but I don’t know.

The electric lego train sets go about $100
The kits, Space shuttle, etc about $25
I thought I single handedly supported the company this year, a 2 and a 4 year old running about.
My 4 year old just saw the link and started jumping around yelling ‘let’s get the lego tiger (repeat 8 times)’.

Monrad, do they sell them in packs of pieces there? Here they’re only in kits, but if I could get an asssortment pack of one color, I sense a project.

you can order packs of pieces direct from LEGO

I’ll look into the prices here in Denmark. If its cheaper then maybe we can work something out.

Legos make great forms to pour your RTV silicone mold material into. [;)]

Wow thats amazing. I’d thought of doing that, but it didn’t turn out right.

I actually read an article, it might have been Scale Auto Mag, or some other auto modelling mag, and just as Woody said, they used Lego’s to create forms. They’re very versatile and useful for all sorts of things. As I said, I use them for jigs, props, supports, anything that requires some abstract object [:D]

Will this be the infamous ‘book for lego transatlantic underground’?

[(-D][(-D] You’ll never now. Maybe it will.

Wow, that is something else! Did you see the lego tiger side by side with a 1/35th scale tiger? That’s just cool! Lego for me was a love-hate affair… see, my parents never bought me enough! So i would build a castle and have only enough bricks for one small wall!! [:p]

I agree with you Lee, they just make incredible stuff now. I used to love playing with them as a kid and when my boys were into it. They built better things than I could.

Those tanks and that 40mm gun were impressive.

very impressive. all around. never did anything like that with legos. had trouble just getting the walls of a building to look right.

joe

That is some pretty cool stuff. I would like to know where he gets stuff like road wheels and suspensions though.

Amazing stuff. All the comments about playing with Lego when you were kids makes me realise how old I am, no Lego around when I was a kid just Meccano.
