I like the looks of the F-105 better. The french aircraft look like a copy of the f-86.

In a way, they are… Mysteres were develepments of the Ouragon, which was an adaptation of the F-86.
The Dassault Ouragan and the F-86 have absolutely no relation to each other whatsoever other than a vague similarity in appearance. And then only to the most casual of observers.
It’s been stated that the Ouragan was inspired by American designs, and the main source of ‘apparent’ inspiration has been cited as being the F-84. But inspiration is not design work, and the Ouragan was an original design.

Is it just me, or does the Mystere look more like a F-100 Super Sabre?
Look at how huge those Thuds are! The pilots’ helmets are just itty bitty white dots in the cockpits!
