WIP on the Workbench
A lot going on right now so time spent on the workbench isn’t what I want -but c’est la vie, right?:man_shrugging:Anyway…

1/48 Hasegawa F-86F: After letting the clear coat set for a few days, went over some rough spots with extremely fine grit (7000) sanding stick and then began decaling starting with what I believed would be the most challenging part - the fuselage stripe and checkered tail, working off Hasegawa and very old Micro-Scale decals. Wasn’t disappointed as the tail required very close attention for alignment and overlap as did the fuselage band at the bottom (2 sets of decals). Reporting success - so far…
1/48 Academy MiG-21PF: detail painting and accent/highlights before clear coating. AK paint pens are shining in this build.

I’ve always loved the metallic finish on fighter jets. I love Alclad, but it shows all your sins.

Nicely Done!

Just a little buffing and polishing (and ATOLLs for the MiG) then off for the glamour shots

Big F-86 fan. You did an awesome job all the way around. Great NMF work on both.
