I picked up a Revell 1/48 F-15E, some paint, some glue, and some putty at my local hobby shop the other day for thirty-five bucks total, took it home, and built the kit as much as I could before I had to paint. Needless to say, there were a few nasty gaps and seams that needed to be puttied, but it was a great kit. The new-ish Strike Eagle is about as much of a box-shaker as you’re gonna get with Revell. The only problem that isn’t common with most models was flash on one area. On the sprue with most of the tiny little anti-swing braces and actuator rods, there’s one region with a sizable amount of flash. One of the afterburner control rods actually looked like a vacuform part before cleanup! Anyway. I’ll post pics as soon as I can of this bird. And it is BIG for a quarter-scale model.
Pics or it didnt happen[;)]
