I don;t think I’d use the big black flag, Other than that i Love this dio. The figs are outstanding, the groundwork and composition are great. And an unusual subject,too! Good job!

Lets just say the echoes of their actions linger thru to this day in that part of the world… very long memories there. Very nice work though, your smocks look espcially good, as does your groundwork. That is what it looks like there.
Well, the black flag is just as contraversial as puting the swastika or the SS decals. It has been discussed here somewhere, you know, historical accuracy vs. political correctnes vs good/bad taste etc.
Thanks for comments , well black flag will stay on this dio but not on top of haystack… I will put it on frame of a diorama … like some sort of title… position on top of haystack is strategicaly wrong because it could be used to direct fire from oposite side… hope you can inderstand what I mean…

I completely agree with you about the black flag–I don’t think any division–SS or otherwise–would call out their location in such a way.
As far as it being controversial or political, I don’t see it that way. It’s History.
HEHEE,made me [:)][:D] I for one would want a more(useful,intimidating,protective,less goofy) head covering when going into battle, or just leaving the house.
The figures looked great once they hit the groundwork(nice realistic looking groundwork) I like the feel and mood in the dio.

Your diorama keeps to look better and better everytime you post updates! [tup] Looking forward to see it completed. Just a suggestion… use the heat to flatten the boots laying on the ground at its top… we don’t see them laying that round unless they are ski boots. Hope you understand what I am trying to say.
Keep 'em coming… I saw few great pictures of SS Div Handschar in a book recently and it reminded me of your work.
