So, ran into an issue when applying primer to my current build. The wings touched and smudged the primer. It somewhat levels out while drying but I am looking for suggestions on how to fix this.
I believe I can light sand it down and not lose the panel lines and apply a new layer of primer. I am using Vallejo’s new Black primer.
Yep - that’s the approach I would use; lightly sand the affected area and apply thin coats of primer.
Also looks like you’ve got a run too. Be careful when sanding to avoid the primer from coming off in sheets.
Isn’t vallejo primer acrylic,should be easy enough to strip it down completely and start again.
Normally I would strip the whole thing, but I do not want to mess up what is okay. yet, I will keep that as a back up if sanding doesn’t work. Consider it a lesson learned scenario.
I’m with Tony - I’d strip and respray.
