Hi all, I’m starting on a 1/48 minicraft v-35 bonanaza. In all the good pics I’ve found the windows appear to have a very light blue tint. Is there any way to duplicate this, and maintain clarity? Thanks, Aardvark
Tamiya Clear blue…
Future mixed with a hint of the desired acrylic color.
this guy is a very good modeller , and shows how to tint cockpit’s green so I image it would work with blue , just ordinary pen ink

Black Sheep T, Hi. Is there any way to lighten the shade? Thanks ,Aardvark
For smaller windows I have used highlighter marking pens, but it is hard to keep density uniform if the window is larger than the marker brush. Also limited in available colors, but if the color you need is available, and the window is small, it is easy to use. I use it a lot on auto tail-lights and turn signals.
I never tried this, thanks for mentioning it!
