She’s a real beauty! You don’t see many of these old Williams Brothers kits built any more. The Golden Age of air racing!
True!I used guitar strings for the wheel spat and wing wires!
What he said! Nice plane.

I agree!
Nearing the bench in my queue is a series of Williams racing planes. I have already done the Hall Racer, have the two place Geebee, the Caudron and the Weddel Williams. I have also built the Lindberg Turner Meteor.
My goal is to have five racing planes in 1:32 for this years Nordiccon, to enter in the Collection subject.
Cool!sounds like you have a nice collection of air racers!
You can find the kits pretty easily though. I have managed t.o collect all but one- the Traveiair. I have a who recently built the WW plane with the same livery as you, so I will build one of they give decals fof. I’m going to build the red and dlack one.
Cool!post a pic when it is completed!
Missileman2000,
Is Nordicon held in Minnesota and if yes when is it being held this year? I live in WI and I’ve always wanted to venture over for that show.
Nice build and the colors look geat. Thanks for sharing it with us.

That is a downright Purty Bird!
Thanks Tank!
Nice one, a very nice one Eugene!
Very nice job on the silver paint, that always has scared me so I’ve … never done it.
I have one of the Williams Brothers Douglas World Cruisers four-planes-in-one kits that will be built, someday. I’m glad the company is still in business.
Oh you must mean the prop!Good old Testors Model Master Chrome Silver!
That’s a swell airplane! Nice clean build. Gilmore the Lion would love it.
I’ve got the Schoenfeldt Firecracker on my built shelf.
I also built the Curtiss Commando. Big impressive a/c.
Thanks Eugene,
Bill
