All I need is 5 of a certain part. The roof (77C) from the Italeri tow launcher humvee. I have built 6 hummvees for a Somalia dio, but they’r different versions. same basic kit, different roof. Anyhoo, I need 5 or 6 of the sloped back roof. do they sell individual parts?
I’m not sure about italeri, but some companies have a missing parts fill out list where you can order more of a certain part. I’ve used it for buying extra gears for a tamiya robot kit I bought. It might be hard though, because model parts are never moulded individually.
Tamiya makes you buy the whole sprue, and charges a good amount for it. They smoked me for $56 for a 1/16 Tiger cuppola and hatch sprue.

testors is a good company for sending you just the parts you want. go to thier web site and fill out thier forms for missing parts. and the best thing of it is its free for the parts.
Just as long as it’s not Academy. I’m still waiting on my parts.
