I need two helmets for my WRC-build. Anyone know of a maker of helmets for the rally car teams?
/Joel
Any of the after market companies may carry them.
Try MediaMix Hobbies, or do a search on Google for companies that deal in after market parts.
Why do you need the helmets only? Are tehy going to be hanging in the car?
My beef is lack of driver figures.

I’ve scanned MediaMix without luck.
You’re right about the helmets only. I’m thinking of putting one in the helmet holder and one in the seat. Mostly cause my lack of talent regarding face painting…don’t want to destroy a good looking model with something my three year old could have done better [:D]

Joel, I cannot agree with you more! [:D] [:I]
The plight of those of us who does not do faces well! I feel exactly the same and is constantly looking for helmets only, esp. for F1 models. Not much luck thusfar, esp in 1/12th…
You could buy the Tamiya rally driver set (89610). Cast the heads in resin, then just hollow them out. This way you still have a full driver, for when you feel you face painting is up to par and you can make as many helmets as you want.
A while back I used to take the heads out of the helmets and use only the helmet on the car. . .I did it for Senna and now am glad I did.
Faces are not that hard to do, I think I’m up to a six year old level now!
For my Tamiya Puegeot 206 I did the best I could, then mucked up the windows so you can’t see inside very well. I also hid some bad decaling on my part with mud splashes.
I have found some “vintage helmets” but those were for circa 1950-1960. . .
