I have heard many suggestions that automotive white paint is good for painting model ommericial aircraft. I would like to airbrush this stuff on but want to know which brands are good and whether these paints come in bottles/cans as well as sprays.

Most major brands will be good paints, Dupont, PPE, etc., etc. Some might be sold in spray cans at autostores, but most of the time you will have to buy a quart jar, unless you can find a paintsupply store that will give you a sample, and that should last some time considering the size of the projects.
