It’s always easier to cover a light color with a dark, than the other way around.
Lighter first. Also if you are painting yellow, white, or red primer then paint those colors. I found out the hard way that yellow is hard to get to cover over blue![:$] Trial and error, trial and error! Good luck.

I do the kightest first, green. However, if I’m doing a 3 color NATO pattern I do the black next then brown.
Just my way of doing it though
