Which colour to use here...

Gentlemen,

I have just received my sdkfz 222 by Tamiya. The instructions say that the gun should be painted in gun metal but it doesn’t say which colour to use for the frame that holds the gun.

Your input is appreciated.

You can use Panzer Grey for the gun frame. If available to you, try Humbrol Metalcote in buffing Steel. It goes on very dark and buffs out very nicely to a dark realistic metal finish.
