There is a massive void concerning Resin, Vac-U-Form and Photo Etch detail parts in one of the common modeling scales, 1/144. Considering the plethora of choices available for 1/72 scale aircraft that are comparable in size to some larger 1/144 subjects (B-29, B-52, whole slew of airliners), its not an unreasonable consideration. Photo-etch kits are even available for 1/350 & 1/700 ship kits, so whose going to be the manufacturer to fill the 1/144 AM detail void?
