Science kit, however, sells 10cm X 38m roll (about 4" X 125’) for $19.95, and 5cm X 75m roll (about 2" X 248’) for $21.00. That’s $0.48 and $0.51 per square foot, respectively.
I bought the 10cm roll a couple of years ago and it’s still going strong. Science kit has lots of other useful goodies, like storage bottles, funnels and other lab equipment.
Gotta logoff and unplug now, the lightning is getting close.
Same with me. I could never get it to work properly, though I have a friend that swears by it. I really like to use something called Friskit Film. It’s available in rolls from Dixi Art. It’s a thin clear film with a paper backing that is slightly sticky. Just peel off the paper backing and apply like Parafilm. It cuts very well with a sharp knife, needing only a light touch. I did the camo job on PoW ship using it and it worked great. I used it for masking camo patterns, but I would imagine it works just as great for masking off areas you don’t want painted.
