i really wanna build a 1/12 scale car, but browsin an ozzy hobby shop the only 1/12scale xcars were old pieces of shit!!!

Well, I am currently building a Ferrari F1 (641/2). Yep, it might be old, but for sure not bad! Very nice and quite challenging. Far as I know there is a Porsche available. I think SMS also had a “super Porsche” kit, but don’t ask me anything about it. Also in my pile is a 1:12 McLarem MP 4/6 and Williams FW14B. Oh, and a Revell Ferrari F2002. Not too old, but in my opinion not 100% up to the standard of the older above-mentioned kits from Tamiya. All of them are nicely done, multi-media, etc.
All depends on what you’re looking for. But try one of the older ones - it may not look like much, but it’s fun to build. I know some of the re-releases like the Tyrrel P34 and the Wolf have quite a lot of aftermarket accessories that can be added to enhance it even more. Haven’t build any of those myself, though, so can’t give an opinion. But the three I mentioned are all highly advised. F190 Ferrari, MP4/6 McLarem and the FW 14B Williams. Don’t think the F2002 will be too shabby, of course…

Have a look on eBay! There are all sorts of kits, even some chep(ish) 1/8th scale. I’m sure you’ll find something and you can pick them up for a song if you’re lucky.

Try Fujimi, they have some 1/12 scale cars.A couple of years ago I picked up a Nissan Skyline GTR. You should check out the online hobbies; HobbylinkJapan or MediaMix Hobby.
