Interesting , isn’t it ?

Both navy related Programs JAG from years back , and NCIS from some years after that all have stuff going on on the Seahawk ! They are always careful to hide her numbers and such . Who was she actually ? Which Stock footage was used and where was She ?

The reason I ask is this .I was working on a model and listening to my Landladies T.V. in the background and heard the " U.S.S. Seahawk , and then Carrier noises . Then they were dealing with Lt Robert’s rehab and I saw Colonel Mc Kenzie hand him ( Lt. Roberts ) a carrier Kit .

Labeled U.S.S.Seahawk in a red box on the upper right of the box -cover with the Entex tricolor circle at the lower left of same cover ! Now , if that is a nice kit , I want one , Especially if it’s 1/350 . When they showed it partially complete on Lt.Roberts table it sure looked like it was 1/350 ! ! T.B.

That series used footage on board all kinds of carriers, including Hornet at Alameda.

Seahawk is CVN-65, in reality the Big E. But Seahawk scenes were filmed on other Nimitz and Forrestal Class carriers too.

So then I can do her from any of the Nimitzes ? That’s good . I just always wanted a T.V. star in my fleet ! T.B.
