Where can you buy eyedroppers?

I know this seems like a silly question, but I need to get a couple eyedroppers for my model work. I’ve looked in Hobby Lobby and a couple drug stores and cannot find where just the droppers are sold.

I just bought 100 from eBay just today for $5.95 plus shipping.

What about the pharmacy section in Walmart or Targets or similar type stores. You may have to ask for them at the counter.

it’s worth a shot.

The Ebay thing souds good. I have three of them that came in the nose drop decongestant meds. I haven’t seen one like the ones I have in a very long time.

Amazon has a set from Testors; comes with paint mixing bottles, too.

I just bought some, glass and plastic, from a home school science supply company. I don’t recall the name. They may call them “pipets”. If all you are want are eye droppers the shipping may kill the deal. I also ordered some reagent bottles and a mortal/pestle for grinding chalks into weather powders.

I’ve seen them at HL in the educational toys section, usually near the diorama supplies. I wanted more than just the few that came in the package.

This is what I purchased from Amazon:

They work very well.

And I just realized the forum no longer has a hyperlink option?

I purchased some during my last visit to the local American Science and Surplus store in the Chicago metro area.

I got some at a local science supply store, too, Auspex Scientific in Allentown. I will also second those who said to ask at a local pharmacy. And if you have any of the general hobby stores nearby, like Michael’s, AC Moore or HobbyLobby, it couldn’t hurt to ask if they carry them, too.

You need to ask yourself, too, what you want to use them for. If you are going to use them with solvents, like lacquer thinner, acetone or mineral spirits, you will want to buy eyedroppers with glass pipes, not plastic. Those solvents won’t attack the glass, whereas they will tend to attack and eventually dissolve many plastics.

Hope that helps!

Try amazon

If you live in or near a larger town that has two or more hospital, check their Yellow Pages for a hospital supply store. They usually have two to four different types of eye droppers.

just go to e-bay ., you’ll pick up a 100 for $5-$6

I get mine for free at my workplace. All I need to do is ask and they say take as many as I need.
