Where can I find this "Hobby Lobby"

I keep hearing about this place. Does anyone know if they have any in the California-Sacramento, San Fransisco area. I start salivating [:p]every time I here about their 50% off sale(s) and, well, need I say more. also do they have a web site? I’ve tried to fine them on Yahoo, etc, but I have not been successful.

Try this. http://www.hobbylobby.com/

many of my kits are from the 50% off sale.

No Hobby lobby in California or NJ where I’m at.[BH].
The web site is www.hobbylobby.com

same here…no hobby lobby in NJ

Where do you find the models on this site? all I could find was stuff like “seasonal crafts”.

They’re an arts & crafts supply place kinda like Michael’s. They don’t sell online. What they do is, every quater, they have a 50% off sale on all their plastic models. They announce this sle on their website with a coupon you can print off and take with you to the store.

Never mind, I found it!!!

Can you get the coupons fot the online stuff, too?

I know where there are 4 Hobby Lobbys within an hour of me. Why am I not printing off htese coupons??? Oh, thats right, every time they ahve a sale, I’m broke from buying models

No, the 50% coupons are for in store purchases only. Quote from their online
catalog page…

Hobby Lobby offers online purchasing of its products sold in our stores through our affiliate company Crafts, Etc!. With over 20,000 items available in its online catalog and orders shipped within 2-3 business days, Crafts, Etc! makes available many of the items normally found in a Hobby Lobby.

As a separate entity from Hobby Lobby, Crafts, Etc! does not offer the sale prices on items in Hobby Lobby’s weekly specials or in Hobby Lobby’s weekly coupon offer.

They seem to be restricted to the “Bible Belt” of the Southeast and Midwest. None on the west coast or in the northeast. But they are expanding. I’ll have a while to wait before they get up here to northern New England though…

There’s one here in Phoenix, not too far from where I live, but I prefer to go to something like Hobby Depot in Tempe or Andy’s Hobby Headquarters in Glendale.

Its pretty far to drive for me to Jim i just moved out to Queen Valley out by supieror. Actuly any hobby shop is far now.

Come on, I’m in Montana, seriously not fair.

What is the address for Crafts Etc…? Is there a good selection of models there?

Cheers

There are two Hobby Lobbies in South Dakota, Rapid City and Sioux Falls, opposite ends of the state…fortunately I live about 100 miles from Rapid City.
They seem to be a pretty conservatively-inclined organization.

Unfortunately, the Hobby Lobby relatively near me has a crappy selection of models to chose from. Even with the 50% off incentive, I still rarely see anything I’m interested in.

Well at lest I will get to cash in on these sales when they happen. They are building a hobby lobby in Russellville,Ar at the old Wal-mart store which just moved to there new supercenter here.I know that this don’t help those with no hobby lobby but at least for those in thsi area won’t have to drive 48 miles to get to one.Digger

We’ve got one here in Madison (actually I think it’s technically in Monona). It’s a 3 mile bike ride for me along a very scenic bike trail around Lake Monona. There’s at least 2 LHS on the West Side of town but they’re a little further away and it’s rough when you don’t have a car. On the other hand, my LHS’s have a great selection of Hasegawa and Tamiya models. My HL doesn’t seem to have that great of a variety in airplane kits.

Are there any Hobby Lobby stores near the Olympic Peninsula (washington state)?[?][?][?]
