Where can I find Blu-Tack or substitute in the US?

The title says it all. I haven’t seen this stuff anywhere.

Try Faber-Castell “Tack-it”. same stuff, different brand. hope you find it![:)]

Office Depot, Wal Mart, Hobby Lobby and a lot of other places have it… it’s not called Blue Tac at all places. Just look for things like Plasti-Tac (Hobby Lobby), Fun - Tac etc… it will look like a set of clay strips in the container. But it’s not always blue. Just ask them for that clay stuff you tack memos and pictures up with and they should know what ya mean.

[#ditto] it’s often in the office supply section and comes, when I’ve found it, in either yellow or blue in flat square patties that are segmented into linear chunks. I found it for 97 cents at Wally world. The stuff is great and I use it all the time. [:)]

[#ditto], I love the stuff ,I did how ever leave it on to long one time and it was a bear to get off. (It was in my shop for about two weeks before I got back to that build. It was in the middle of the summer in the 90’s & 100’s).[B)]

The hardware store, the lumber yard and the dime store here carry this item (under various names of course) - I’ve seen it in blue, yellow, green and white and all work the same.

Another generic name you can look for is “Power Tack”. You should be able to find it anywhere where you can buy stationery.

Avoid the Staples brand. I tries it and it was difficult to work, inconsistent in texture and left marks on the paint.

Go to Toy R Us, get Silly Putty.

While at Target the other day, I found similar stuff you might try.

The first was by the crayon / markers (crafts / school supplies) aisles. It’s Elmers Poster Tack. The other was in the household repair aisle with super glues, caulk, etc. It’s made by Loctite, but also found under other brands/names such as Holdit or Fun-Tak (by Lepage or Henkel). You might also searching online for “reusable adhesive putty” or ask in the store.
