i dont know were, but i know who. tamiya has a zimerit aplicator, code 35187.

I posted this a few days ago in the Armor section; here goes.

I put zimmeret on a Tamiya King Tiger several years ago using a method I read about in FSM. Use the fancy paper napkins with the raised corrigated border.

Cut strips of the border to about 1/2 inch long X 1/4 inch high, glue onto the areas you want to cover using super glue and then paint your model in the next step. If you mess up, dont’ worry as the look will be that of battle damage. The effect is quite impressive.

If you can’t have fun with building models, give them to someone who will.

I purchased Tamiya Zimmerit applicators from Ebay. And also, this can be found on on-line based hobby shops as well.
