What's Plasti-Zap "specialty CA?"

Been on plasti-zap’s web page. Frequently used green and pink label “Zap a Gap” in the past, usually for PE. This stuff claims to be a CA but also says it’s for plastic - adhesion in about 20 seconds. I bought a little bottle cheap, but wonder if anyone out there has used it? If it’s a CA I’d assume that means it doesn’t melt plastic. Says it won’t “attack paint” and maybe that would make it good for gluing painted parts together. Anyway, like to have an opinion before I learn the hard way.

I haven’t used it myself, but from an MSDS standpoint it has the same ingredients as the medium viscosity zap-a-gap (but different proportions). I wouldn’t expect any CA glue to attack paint. I would still worry about adhesion, though. The glue may stick to the paint, but how well will the paint stick to the plastic?

My guess is that it will be hard to tell the difference between plasti-zap and the green lable.
