I’m with miduppergunner on this one. I haven’t mastered doing more than 2 kits at once and even then I tend to negelct one over the other and then back again. I have the work space to do probably do 4 or 5 at once but with the B-52 I’m working on it takes up a good deal of space. I’m also working on and SBD-5, but taking it kind of slow. Tends to be my style I guess. I can’t see how some guys can have a complete kit within a month or less. It generally takes me around 6 months per kit (unless it’s a really simple kit which I rarely get), I just like to take my time with it and enjoy the build.
On my to do pile/closet I have a Trumpeter F-4U-4 Corsair that’s a 1/32 scale (yeah, it’s gonna be a big bird. Good thing the wings fold), a Monogram Pro Modeller F-86D Dog Sabre (the one with the Dennis the Menace markings), and a Tamiya BF109 -4/7 Trop.
I have no idea when I’ll get to these three though. The Pro Modeller and Trumpeter kits appear to be more demanding so I’ll probably start the BF109 after I finish the B-52 or SBD, whichever comes first. It’s still going to be a while on those two though. I’ve rambled on enough for now.
Man, I’ve been working on the same kits all summer…Oh well, I’m putting the final push before another semester of college starts. Most of the kits are well on their way and I should be able to get them done.

Testors 1/72 B-2 Stealth - Decals on, dull cote applied, finalizing landing gear and them I’m done 
Testors SR-71 - Put on final coats of gloss, going to be decaled tomorrow
Testors F-117 - Primer’s on, half painted because I ran out of black paint
Imex Apache AH-64D - sprayed on some Krylon gloss cote’s, readied to be decaled but I need to go get some Micro sol to soften up the decals
Testors U-2C - decals on, ready to be dull coted, but the fuselage seam split open so I reglued it today, hopefully the dull cote goes on tomorrow.

thenothing and miduppergunner- It really is not that hard top work on more that two projects at a time, I currently am not doing it because everything but my Lady Be Good has been put on the backburner so I can get her done in time for September 11th. But since do work on them almost every day, at one point or another I am able to achieve this almost asembly line stlye building.

Wow, y’all really know how to put the pressure on! I can’t imagine building upwards of 15 kits simultaneously … man … many kudos to all of you! I only have four going on right now.

I am about thirty seconds away from being finished with my 1/48 P-51D Mustang. I just need to get a replacement canopy, which I think I will get a Dallas canopy for. Paint the frame, glue it into place, let it dry and then boom done! [:D]

I started my 1/48 P-38J Lightning just yesterday and made impressive progress on it. It is being modeled as a photo-recon beachrunner with full D-Day stripes. [8D]

I’m almost done with my 1/25 1999 Mustang Cobra, which I is being modeled with unused missiles from P-38 to be like a fictional American-built 007 car. He really does need to discover Fords and Chevies - I mean for real, picture him in a Corvette or somethin!

On September 3rd, 2004, I will jump on my Academy 1/48 F-117A. It is being held off for the Stealth GB but I’m really eager to start it and am still searching for the gigantic fast-fwd button in the sky.

Wow, some of you guys have big benches! My summer is ending, along with any time to build models, so I’m kinda winding down now. The only thing I have going is, sadly, not even an aircraft! Its a 1/35 Tamiya Jagdpanther, wich will hopefully be done by the time school starts up again. I was planning on starting a Spitfire IXe, put that one hasn’t left the box yet, and probly won’t untill November. Those are the only kits that will probly get any work done on them untill sometime next year.
Picked it up on eBay for a couple bucks, by my LHS has 2. You can read about my decal snafu of last night here, but I’ll post pictures of the good side when I can (in the Auto forum, of course).

Right now I’m working on Tamiyas 1/72 Mosquito, Czech Models 1/48 Grumman Goose and Academy’s 1/72 ground support veh. 3 pack. I’ve also made a good dent in Accurate Miniatures TBM 3 Avenger.

I have nowhere to airbrush indoors, so in the winter it’s brush painting and assembly, and when the weather gets nice, I spray the exteriors. It’s kind of a hassle dragging all that stuff out and back in, so I try to work in batches.

Hey I build 2 at a time all the time. It’s especially useful on modern US jets with their common colors in the cockpit, landing gear, exhaust, weapons, etc. Really saves a lot of time with the airbrush.
Right now I’m about 3/4 done with a Tamiya Corsair in the box stock VMF-312 markings, and the Revell T-bolt in “Thoroughbred” markings. Think those 2 checkered cowls will look cool together. Just started a Revellogram F-15 and F/A-18 in 48th scale. Over in the on-again-off-again corner sits (in 72nd) a Tamiya PR Mossie, Academy Tempest, and Special Hobby Firefly. That’s 3 at a time! Such insanity[banghead].
