I have a request of you guys who have infinitely more knowledge of WW2 German armor than I do. I have seen several different kits at my LHS and also online that are advertised as being “DAK Version”.
What the heck is a DAK version? Thanks in advance for all responses.
Desert Afrika Korps
Actually – Deusch (German) Afrika Korps
Of course, I should have thought of that[banghead][banghead]!
Thanks again.
HEre is some info on the Deutsches Afrika Korps if you are interested

Anybody know where I can find a 1/72nd scale Afrika Korp palm tree to put on my
E-100?
what size are you looking for. I might have an extra for the 222 i did, but it was 1/35th. Might be too big. Let me know about the size you are thinking about and I will check
AFV-Decals set number AFV-7201 Deutsches AfrikaKorps decal sheet in 1/72-1/76. Ran me $10 for the set and includes all decals needed to do 29 DAK vehicles. I won’t build that many DAK vehicles in 1/72 scale so I have a palm tree or two I can spare. Actually, this is a bonus set that allows you to build two Pz 35(t) Skoda and one Nbfz Jumbo for a total of 32 vehicles.
Shoot me a line and I can cut a couple of tiny trees out for you. Be advised that this is an authentic decal sheet that may contain offensive markings to the politically correct.
i thought it was das afrika korps
Just to add my [2c] – here’s a pretty comprehensive site on the DAK. Lots of equipment, unit markings, history, etc.
