Hi everyone… I was not dead, just a lot busy, but here I am with my new creation… MUAHAHAHA…
First at all I’d like to apoligize to all stealth airplane fans cuz I’m sure they are gonna curse me for this model I just builded.
To start I gonna explain it… Down here at my modeler club, we have this challenge about Mexican What if (including a fictitious brief “history” how was the airplne acquired) for November, and since I can’t resist a challenge despite I don’t like our “modern” air force that much. Well… some of my buddies choosed from F-4 to Su-27, I thought, since this was kind a bizarre chalenge for me (my first “what if” model)I choose the most bizarre airplane for this chalenge. So I ended building this.
I know, this country don’t even have the money to buy even a sigle wheel of this airplane… but as Stephen Hawkins use to say, “In my mind I’m free”. So the story goes: Since the Army and Air Froce couldn’t chalenge enough the drug cartels they bought a stealth squadron of F-117’s all they sponsored by Carta Blanca beer (who else?), the modification asked for this squadron were all F-117s must come with a 8 track tape, jumping lowrider suspension, a very louder exhaust, also a leather seat so the pilot would feel like he’s the king of the air, and of course polarized windshelds, even on the FLIR laser unit, to make them look like tough badass’. (LOL my buddies are gonna hate me for this in November)
The model it’s the ol’ Revell 1/48, building this model was the HELL, a LOT… and I mean a LOT of sanding was needed. excepting for some minor home made details the model was build OOB and some decals came from here and there. some other markings were hand painted.

Hmmm… I’m thinkin’ that the stick should be a welded, chromed chain and maybe dingle-balls around the canopy frame interior, with shag carpet on the dash, some fuzzy dice on the mirror, and a hasp/padlock combo on the canopy frame exterior?
Maybe a diorama with the jet and a '68 Impala (in matching grey primer) with the hood up and the crewcheif moving towards the jet with a set of jumper cables…
Love the idea of a WTF GB too, somehow the idea of a Vatican F-22 jumps to mind…
Only question is shouldn’t since WTF is the intials for an English saying shouldn’t it be in Spanish? I have no idea what the Spanish equal for What The Bleep would be but I’d assume the intials would be different?
