So what kits would you like to see or build this upcoming year? I’m ecstatic about the AMTech 1/32 scale P-39 coming out in the summer. But, I still want to buy one of Trumpeter’s 1/24 scale monsters(either the mustang or the zero).
Thee is one kit I am getting impatient on and that’s a 1/24 or 1/32 scale P-82 Twin Mustang. I think a Trumpeter issue of this plane would be awesome. Imagine the detail! Not to mention how absolutely huge it would be. It would be a great subject since they already have the mold for the D Mustang. All they’d have to do is rework the exhausts and join the two fuselages. That and rework the wings. I think it would be great and I’d shell out the money for a twin mustang twin killing!
In 1/48: A-1E Skyraider - C-123 Provider - P-3 Orion - B-26K Counter Invader
In 1/35: AH-1G Cobra - A-1E Skyraider - A-1H Skyraider

1/32 Rafale from Trumpeter…! That’s all!
How come I knew that was coming, DJ??? [:D]

All I want is for Am Tech to get those P-61’s and Reporters in production.
American WWII bombers in 1/48. I want new 1/48 B-29, B-24, B-26, and B-17. : )
I agree Swanny. Those had slipped my mind!!! [%-)]

I’d love to see a highly detailed Cessna 172 in 1/72 scale. Something like what Roden is doing for WWI planes.
How about a 1/32 scale Bristol F2.b Fighter?
Regards,

I’d buy that Cessna! I have a crappy one from Arii I think. Poor everything on that one. I’m going to repeat myself again but, 1/72 F-8 series and F-5 series. 1/72 M2F-2/3 lifting bodies. Tamiya! fix those 1/32 F-14 toolings!! It’s about time they were up to the quality of the F-4 and F-15 kits.
As a child in upstate Michigan I saw P-61 fly over the family ranch at low altitude, very cool - have been fascinated by that aircraft ever since.
Funny how each different experience manages to last. The local guard base has A-10’s and when I was young an exhibit at the D.C. air and space museum got me hooked on F-14’s. The facinations last until today 20 years later.
I’m probably just weird, but I’d like to an accurate Zveno SPB in 1:72. ICM makes a kit it calls Zveno SPB, but the TB-3 involved is too early of a version to count as the one used in WWII.
For those who have no idea what I’m talking about, Zveno was a program in the '30s that made extensive work with parasite aircraft. SPB was the version that actually saw combat, using a Tupolev TB-3 mother ship, and two Polikarpov I-16s that functioned as dive bombers.
(Or, better yet, an ‘Aviamatka’ kit in 1:72! It was the culmanating Zveno operation, using a TB-3, two I-16s, two I-5s, and an I-Z, for a grand total of SIX aircraft coupled together!)

i agree about some decent 1/72 civil stuff like the cessna family (up to the twin 210r)and the pipers and beechcraft, some airforces use these so the kits would probably be welcomed by most folks here. i would love a 1/32 EE lightning (single and two seat) to go with my revell hunter, also a two seat version of the hunter kit would be cool too.
A 32 or 48 scale Halifax MkIII with 462 Sqn markings and masts.
I’d like to see a 48th or larger model of the new Texan JPATS trainer. Just as long as the price tag is reasonable. Seems like all the newer kits have a price tag in the hungred dollar range.
I would like to see Hasegawa produce a Mitsubishi G3M “Nell” in 1/48. Or a “Lilly,” or “Sally.” A nice 1/48 Ki 45 “Nick” would be great, too. Can you imagine a 1/48 “Emily” or “Mavis” ? WOW !
I would like to see some decent civil aircraft in 1/48.
The T-6 Texan II would be nice, too.

I would like a good 1/48 or 1/35 UH-1D/H/V. Also a F-82 would be great. Just “FYI” I don’t think there was anything you could used off a P-51 to make a F-82 except the control sticks and maybe the tail wheels. The fuselage were deeper and longer, similar to the H model Mustangs.
I want a 1/48 Tamiya or Hasegawa (or a new Revellogram) Boulton Paul Defiant.
1/72 C-123 J/K Provider (maybe even in 1/48)
1/72 and 1/48 quality civil aircraft (Cessna 152/172/206 Piper cubs and cherokee, etc…)
1/35 AH-6 MH-6…yeah I know, Hey DML why don’t you start making them again!!!
an accurate UH-1H/V in 1/48 and 1/35
Modern aircrew for fixed wing and helo’s in 1/48 and 1/35
And lastly a 1/48 scale Cessna C-195…you got it…what a classic!!!
I’m sure there’s more but that’s it for now.
