What about a model, maybe 1/48, of a Zamboni ice re-surfacer? Anybody who’s ever been to a hockey game has seen the Zamboni do its thing between periods and knows the crowd loves them. The real thing usually sports the home teams logo and colors, so the model could have similiar decal alternatives. Zamboni has a website if you’re in doubt as to its looks.

I like the Zamboni idea. I change my vote. Can I get it in Red Wing colors?
How about a Cold War era Trabant. I just saw one at the International Spy Museum in DC all decked out for smuggling folks across the East/West German border.
I would LOVE to have a 1/32 high quailty model of Lindburgh’s Spirit of St Louis. Or maybe a 1/32 Avenger? A 1/48 B-26 and finally, a 1/32 Kingfisher. Tamiya, Trumpy, you guys listening?!?!?!
A Heritage Models 1/72 resin TSR.2! Now if I can just come up with a large chunk of change.[:D]
Well done Louis,
I’m interested in flying boats too and would like to see all these seaplanes you mention as 1/72 kits.
The Blackburn Iris is the only one in your list which was once offered by Contrail as a rather basic vacuformed kit.
Just like to add the following to your list:
Short Solent/Sandringham
Short S-23 C-Class
Dornier R-Superwal
Dornier J-I Wal
Grumman Mallard
Vought-Sikorsky VS-44
and any Rohrbach flying boat !
And there are some models, which I’d like to see issued
new injection molded:
Short Sunderland
Beriev Be-12
Beriev Be-6
Aeromarino
OK…
How about a 1:48 TB-3 bomber…imagine the detail in that one!!
I know someone did a FW Condor kit not long ago…but one that’s not so pricey at 1:48 would be nice. And maybe an IAR 80?? OK-- I’ll stop now…
