What is this in my new bottles of paint?

I just recently purchased some Tamiya X-4 blue and X-14 sky blue and they both have, for lack of a better term, a whitish film on the bottom of the jar. What is it? Before I stir and shake them well the bottom is completely covered, and after shaking them up, it kinda disappears until the next time then the bottom is completely covered again.

Any Ideas what this is? Is the paint still good to use (even though it was purchased in the last couple weeks, did it sit on the shelf somewhere too long?

It is just the pigment settling to the bottom and separating out from the solvent. Mix and shake it up so it all blends together and the paint will be fine.

Like Gino said, it’s just paint pigment in the bottom of the bottle. Stir it thoroughly and you’ll be good to go!
