What size string is in AFV CLUB’S kit M88A1. Not sure what size string to order.

Thank you, I used my caliper. I believe it to be .5mm , i ordered some from Amazon. Very difficult to get a response from AFV company.

The cable for the boom and the two boom stay cables come in the kit as string.

There wasn’t enough string, i’m short 120 mm of string.

There also appears to be two string thicknesses.

Ship modelers get all kinds of angst about rigging sizes and at scales down to like 1/120, so Armor modelers are likely to flame war over fractional millimeter sizes :smiley:
