what is the color on the coller of german panzer crews?

it seems like a pinkish color but i cant find anything that matches what it really looks like anyone got any insight?

noone awnsered me in the painting section so i might as well try here.

The piping on the collars and eppelautes (shoulder straps) is pink in color on German WWII tank crews.

There were some rare exceptions: Yellow was used for the 24th Panzer Division (former Calvary Division). Also, Luftwaffe Armor crews (Herman Goering PD for example) had white piping…Also, assault gun crews (StuGs) used red since they were officially artillery units…

im currently building a Hetzer late for the 8th SS calvary div. so im assumeing i should use a light pink for the collar pipeing?

Red for Hetzer crews…

Remember also that self-propelled artillery units wore field grey uniforms, in the panzer uniform style, not black ones. In the latter part of the war, panzer-style camo jackets (or complete outfits) were often worn, by both armour and self-prop crews.

Cheers,

Chris.
