If I’m not mistaken the color should be zinc chromate green.
The Greenish one, - something to keep in mind the inside main gear doors were sometimes oversprayed the same color as the aircraft.
I’m old enough to remember seeing Corsairs headed overseas. The wheel wells were zinc chromate green.
You guys have me confused. Are you talking about a Marine Corsair? I’m building a Navy F4U-4, and believe the wheel wells should be either white or gloss sea blue like the exterior. I’ve seen pics of Marine F4U’s in museums, though, with what appears to be green zinc chromate wheel wells.

No difference between Navy and Marine Corps birds. They were all subject to the same BUAIR instructions on paint. A sea blue corsair had whell wells to match. Semper Fii
