MikeV dont feel left out because that is the same thing that i am working on. I dont see how all these people work on 2 or 3 different models at the same time
Well, I’ve nearly finished Academy’s 1/32 F/A-18C. Very enjoyable build. Also have the Academy 1/48 F-14B and Tamiya 1/32 F-15C started up. Next on teh bench will be Hasegawa’s F6F Hellcat, whenever I can find some more room to lay it down.
Two 1/48 SR-71s straight outta the box. One A and one B model.
Just finished a Royal Navy (FRADU) Hawker Hunter GA11 converted from the Airfix FGA9 in mid 80’s grey over white (1/72nd). Next up is a Westland Wasp (RN) 1/72nd conversion from a Westland Scout (Airfix) using an ancient guide from an old Airfix magazine. And no, I don’t just do Airfix kits, these were cheap! But yes, I do usually build just one at a time, no room for more!
Pete
Well, i have 3 things on my desk now,
- 1/72 B-17F (i had to rip out the interior of an earlier B-17 since the new kit’s deatil really sucks.)
- 1/35 Tiger (yes… i do an occasional tank. though, i can’t keep up with all of them wheels! there must be around 64 wheels on it!)
- 1/72 PBY-5 Catalina (My current project).
though, i am eyeing anotherone waiting on the shelf: A B-17G! i’ve never done a '17G model before… looking forward to how i can do the aluminum skin and all that…

Well…
A Revell-Germany 1/16 Peterbilt road tractor??? I know it isn’t an a/c but I needed a break. That way when I start my F-15s I’ll be fresh right?
Wroper
um, a tamiya 1/48 DH mosquito B.MK IV and an unassailable pile of homework. i hate chinese reading. but i love the DH mosie !
I’m in the middle of making THE DIORAMA.
It’s an 1/32 scale Tomcat resting on top an aircraft carrier. If any detail in 1/32 scale is >=.1 mm, then it’ll be included!
I plan to spend a couple of years on it. But now, all my efforts and time will be spent on researching and researching, and building, customizing…and then building.
I want it to be super accurate, and realistic.
It’s a Puking Dogs tomcat in Dessert Storm.
The model i am working on now is Hobbycrafts 1/48th Su27 which is on hold to help my son with his first model which is a car [V], but maybe he will come around to the aircraft side one of these day.
I just finished an Accurate Miniatures TBF-1C Avenger (great kit!) and I am going to start on a Minicraft 1/144th TWA MD-80 model. Like a few of you I can only work on one at a time.
Steve
My kits in progress are:
OOP Monogram 1/72 Do17z (two of them actually) The first was nearly finished, but I resanded and painted between the fuse and elevator because I put the fuse decals on crooked. Bought the second because I lost a wheel on the first, so I’ll build that one in a Russian Front scheme (wheels up I guess).
Airfix 1/72 BV 141(How does one recreate 1/72 rivets?) Also, I need to know the correct RLM colors for this a/c. Anyone,…anyone,…Bueller?
Hobbycraft 1/72 F-86 Just needs the gear and canopy fitted. Put it aside because I got bored with it, and because I never finish anything!
I see these ads on TV for Adult Attention Deficit Syndrome.
Whoa… is that a new kit? Lemme see it!
I need help.
Stinger
I’m currently working on:

Testors 1/72 SBD Dauntless
Revell of Germany 1/48 B-1B Lancer (I shall purchase it as soon as it goes on sale…)
I am working on cars, too:
AMT Ertl 1/25 '57 Chrysler 300c
and in line for autos:
AMT Ertl 1/25 '55 Chevy Nomad
AMT Ertl 1/25 '66 Ford Fairline GT/GTA
Glencoe’s 1/110 Spirit of St Louis [xx(][V] It’s a really rough kit but thats just a good reason to scratchbuild a lot of details. I am finishing a figure diorama first but how do you go about scratchbuilding a cockpit???
