What is everyone working on

Just thought I’d start a thread asking what is currently on you workbench or in some way “started” Mine are

AMT 1/72 Ju88C-6
AMT 1/72 Ju88G-6
DML 1/48 Me262A-1a Nachtjager
Academy 1/48 F4U-5N Corsair
AMT 1/48 A-20J Havoc

Next inline is a
Hasegawa 1/48 Me109F-2/R-1 Jabo
Hasegawa 1/48 Spitfire Vb

Almost forgot I am also building
Hasegawa 1/72 F4U-1 Corsair
Hasegawa 1/72 F6F-5N Hellcat with my 8 year old daughter she really likes this stuff JOHN
JOHN

I am working on:
Tamiya 1/48 F4U-1D
Accurate Miniatures 1/48 Ilyushin IL-2
Monogram 1/48 F-4E
ICM 1/48 Yak-7a (with my son)

Next:
Eduard 1/48 P-400
Hasegawa 1/48 F-8E
T—bone

Well, I haven’t finished or started on anything in a couple years, but there is in various stages of completion the following all in 1/48th. T-6, B-17, B-25, B-29, A-26, P-51, P-61, F-15A (with scratchbuilt featherless AB cans from 1986), AH-64 and V-22 with motorized rotors, 2 UH-1C’s. A UH-1C in 1/35 and a B-17 in 1/72. I’m sure I forgot something. I really need to get back to building quit “collecting”! I’m sure there is a “12 Step Program” for that too!

Lotsa stuff!

Trying to finish off Okanet models’ Me-329. I’ve gotten to the part I hate most - the vacu-freakin-form-freakin canopy. I usually manage to ruin the model at this point.

Trumpeter’s SM-79 is coming along nicely

Eduard’s Bf-108 assembled and awaiting primer

Hasegawa Ju-87R finished and awaiting canopy framing (for about 5 years now [:D] )

Hasegawa Isreali F-16D Brakeet very close to finished

And about 100 more started in little bits…

Been working on a late model B-17F for the last year (“My Devotion).” Started building a Wildcat from the U.S.S. Ranger (Operation Torch) with my daughter. A Navy fighter is something new to me.

The ones on which I am currently working are :

(all 1/48)

Trimaster Me 262A-1a
Hasegawa Ju 87G-2 with Eduard P.E.
Hasegawa Arado 234B-2 with Verlinden set
DML Ta 152H-1 with Eduard P.E.
Hasegawa Typhoon 1b bubbletop with Jaguar set
Classic Airframes Mitsubishi A5M4 Claude
Hasegawa P-47D-28 with Teknics cockpit
Pro Mod Bf 110G-4 with Verlinden set
ICM Yak 7A
Falcon Bf 109G-12 two-seat trainer

I picked up a 1/144 Acadamy F-4F Phantom. Neat little kit, but I had to reshape the fuselage where the air intake/engine compartment blends into the upper fuselage. Also had to reshape the intakes where they had this weird curvature. Can’t wait to paint it, though, it’s one of those multi-grey toned schemes…time to play with the airbrush.

Phantoms Phorever

I guess I am in the minority here as I only have one kit that I am working on, a 1/48 Revell F-15E.

Mike

Still trying to figure out the intricacies of the 1/48 Hasegawa F-14A kit, with all of the Verlinden AM stuff to go along. A very long, but satisfying build. Only other thing on my bench right now are some Wood Elf figures for Warhammer. Then again, I am moving…

Man… almost feel like I’m in the wrong forum by reporting my works in progress are all civilian in nature. [8D]

1/48 Cessna Skyhawk
1/48 “Rare Bear” F8F
1/48 restored OH-58C (with the paneled windscreen)
1/25 '71 Dodge Charger (Marty Robbins)
and a 1/32 spares box “Put-Together” (which are always a lot of fun) of a solar powered electric motored 200mph+ “Homebuilt”.

[;)]

Now that I think about it… I’m an Aviation Artist, and nearly all my subjects are Military related, but practically all of my models are civilian! [:0] Go figure!

“Go-Go Niner’s on the go”

1/100 gundam Deathscyth from the gundam wwing series for the top of the christmas tree

1:72 Frog/ Eastern Express Vickers Vimy WW I bomber
1:100 Airfix Lockheed L-1011 Tristar

Borislav

Wow… lotsa stuff.

For me, its:

Revell 1/32 AH-1G with Cobra company interior (x4)
Converting one of them to an AH-1F and one to an AH-1J.
Revell 1/32 AH-64A Apache with a complete wire-strike kit, laser detectors and chain gun (all scratchbuilt)
Revell 1/32 AH-64A Converting to AH-64D without Longbow Radar (again lots of scratchbuilding.
Revell 1/32 F-4E Phantom (kinda on hold for now, but I want to build it as “Chico the Gunfighter”)
MRC UH-1C
MRC UH-1C kitbash with 2 others to make a correct UH-1H
DML OH-6A
Airfix 1/72 Spitfire that my girlfriend got me when she went to England. I asked her to bring me back a Spitfire from England. I forgot to specify the 1/1 scale…[:p]

As far as airplanes are concerned, only Revell’s Concorde right now. Wanting to get Italeri’s brand new SM-79, though…

Currently working on …
1/32nd Tamiya F4J
Hasegawa BF109G14
Hasegawa FW190D9
1/48 Hasegawa F4J

next projects - Phantoms and Gunfighters (F4J,F4G,3x F8E)

Currently on the blocks:

Italeri 1/48 Me262, very early stages of construction.
Academy 1/72 Me163, awaiting paint.
Revell 1/72 He177, awaiting final camo colour.
Revell 1/72 Ar555, awaiting completion of canopy framing, there is a lot, and it is quite small!

Currently don’t have an area to spray in in the house, and usual site, the shed nolonger habitable in the cold wet English autumn!

Oh well.

Karl

CH-53E 1/72 by Italeri - bad kit: No Rotor tilt, Inaccurate panel lines, underdetailed rotor head, poor fit, etc…

F4U-4 1/48 by Hasegawa - good kit, simple but nice.

[%-)] Am I the only one working on only one thing? Anyway, I’m very close to finishing a 1:72 Revell Germany RB-36F. That’s about it.

On the bench:
#1 Revell 1/48 B-17F with Paragon E conversion. Wings on, final seam repair in progress.

#2 CMR 1/72 Sikorsky S-38. Hull complete, wings primed for Alclad. Looking for brass replacement struts for the wings.

#3 Academy 1/48 P-38E with Aeromaster Drab Dress decals. Painted waiting for Future coating and decals.

#4 ARBA resin 1/48 DH-108 High Speed research jet just getting started.

1/72 Hasegawa F-104G in Bavaria lozenge scheme (decalling now)
1/24 Fujimi Renault Megane Coupe (detailing and decalling left to do)
1/35 Italeri 75mm Pak40 & crew (half assembled)
1/72 Revell Merkava 3 (just taken the road wheels off the sprue)

Next up: not definite, but maybe 1/35 Italeri T-26 with PE or the 1/72 Academy Ju87-G1 which I can’t wait to have a go at! [:D]
