Great artwork, shark708. Where did you get it?
Metallica’s a great band! Check out Ipolpo22’s post “What would you name it?” He asks what name would you give the hypothetical plane he invented. I came up with lots of suggestions, all from heavy metal.
Since my original post, I have completed the Ki-61 and am now working on an Academy Polikarpov I-16. Small project for sure.
Yes, PSU stands for Penn State… 2 weeks til football season!
A Lagg-3? I’d be quite interested in that… I have completed a La7, working on a I-16, have a Yak1 to be built; also completed La5 and Yak3 years ago…
Hello Mike, and welcome.
I’m currently wrapping up a 1/72 Airfix Kingfisher, and about halfway done with
the Trumpeter Hornet. Next up is my first resin kit, the Iron Shipwright tug USS Hoga.

I am building an RB-36H in 1/72. The raised panel lines are going to be a right pest to fix!
I also have a WW1 British Hemofradite Tank underway in 1/35 scale.
I purchase most of my kits from my “local” hobby shop about 30 miles away. He has some great kits from the past. Some in original boxes others in plastic bags. I find that it is good to make the trip especially on Saturdays as a lot of other modelers gather for a chat and coffee. Some even bring cakes and bickies (thats cookies to some) and that makes a good day out

Hallo from Poland, Mike ! Now I began to make a Smer 1/48 Reggiane Re 2000 - not so nice model to do, with rivets as big as tennis balls (!), but I think I will work it out somehow. Unfortunately I had to leave my Thai Hawk project because of problems with undercarriage - but I think I will be back to it for a couple of weeks (I’m going to scratchbuild it !). Regards ! Aleksander
