i believe it is the Quad mount 20 mm im not sure off the top of my head but i know tamiya makes one not sure of wether it comes with a crew or not
i just looked it up the one you want is the(( “Flackvierling 38/quad tamiya stock# tam35091” )) it comes with the towing trailer but no figures the gun goes for about 7.00 us$ but i have seen it online as low as $5.00 on great models .com
yep, its a flak 38 vierling. The would have also ran into flak 38’s and flak 37’s. Most of them would have been emplaced in bunkers or some form of cover. Tamiya make all of these guns and different companies make crews. Tristar has a flak 38 crew.
If you want 1/72 scale, I cant really help you. there are flak kits out there in that scale, but id ont know about a crew.
I was thinking i might buy the Hasegawa 1/72 SDKFZ 20mm Flak for $12.95 would they have come across any of these out there or mabey i could take the gun off it and just use it like that. it dosnt come with crew so does anyone know of a 1,72 crew set?
I dont think they would have ran into the sdkfz 7/?. Just the gun emplacement.
Thats what I have.

The above is a 1/35 kit. Sorry, don’t know about 1/72 either, not my scale.
Good luck.

ok then these are the kits i have to pick from…
1/72 SDKFZ 37mm Flak
1/72 88mm Flak 18
1/72 88mm Gun Flak 36
1/72 Pak 35, Pak 40 & Flak 38
1/72 SDKFZ 20mm Flak
What would you use for a d- day normandy dio???
ok i just had a look at the 1/72 Pak 35, Pak 40 & Flak 38 Italeri kit i think i might order that 3 guns with 8 men for $16.50 sounds good to me !
just be aware that 2 of the guns are at weapons, not flak.

Ok, I’m new here, so don’t shoot me… lol
Just did a quick search and came up with this: http://www.jadar.com.pl/jadar-group/armo72/72074/page_01.htm
Made in Poland, price appears to be 56.00Zl which translates to just under $17.00US

At one time, ESCI did one of these in 1/72 - you might get lucky… http://miniatures.de/html/ger/esci-8612-flak-vierling-38.html
This is more than likely a rebox of the ancient ESCI set. If I recall correctly, the Flak38 was fairly crude with massively overscale barrels etc.
HOWEVER in later years ESCI released a 1/72 FlakPanzer Wirbelwind with a newly tooled gun set which, was quite well detailed and “almost” a scale-down of the Tamiya 1/35 offering. Would anyone know if they retooled the Flak38 set in the abovementioned kit?
Does anyone know of a dio that has a german flak just so i can get some idears of the surroundings?.
cheers

revell make a 1/72 flak gun like the one pictured earlier.
dunno any retailers
ckeck their site
The one in the newer Hasagawa Wirbelwind has a nice gun in it.
There is a nice singlebarrel 20mm by Al.By
and you can buy 20mm barrels that give a much more scale effect.
Besides the single and Quad 20mm, there were also 37mm and 88mm guns in Normandy and you can find several nice 88’s in the one true scale.
