what do the little stars mean by your number of posts?

One star, it’s OK, two stars, you spend WAY too much time on this site! I dread what comes next…!
When you get your fifth star, you get to be FSM Editor in Chief.
just testing
Way too much time-I should have 6 or 8![:D][:D][:D]
Boy do I need A J-O-B![:(!][:(]
How come the stars are different colors? One poster had two red ones, another had two blue ones?
Isn’t it obvious? [;)] (Just kidding…)
Red stars are “meant” to signify Administrators.
I think the stars have something to do with how many posts you have on the forum. Am I right Dave? How about posting somewhere on the sight how mwny posts you need to move to the next level?
Lee
You are correct - the more posts, the more stars (basically).

The Rank Names are the defaults from the initial setup. We never discussed changing the Rank Names (getting the site live was a bit more important [;)]). So maybe if anyone has any suggestions, we’ll consider changing them. [;)]
The challenge tho’ - it shouldn’t be specific to any particular subject. [:)]
I like the blue and the puprle better than the grey and brown ones! Not that I’m close to reach level 3 and 4 (well, level 4 anyway!) [:-)]
The “grey” and “brown” stars are meant to be silver and bronze. Although they do look more grey and brown than the silver and bronze.
Oh, I see… Still prefer the blue and the purple better, though…
[:p]
What do you think about these stars?

Sharp, Dave. Do you also get frequent flyer bonus stars for marathon weekends (you know-when you’re out of paint, out of superglue, and there’s a WWII or aviation film marathon on …fill-in-the-blank…network- and you spend WAY too much time on the site :)-Ed
Aren’ t we all stars…And what about TO PAY for a post…Mmmh ? [^]
OK…It was just a mere suggestion, forget ’ t ! [:D]
Have a nice day…! [:)]
I feel much better now that the “secret” of the stars and their color codings has been unveiled. Now, back to the modeling bench!
