Your P-51 is looking fantastic. That’s some nice detail painting in that cockpit.
Thanks guys! Too bad that cockpit won’t be highly visible since the windscreen and canopy hood are molded as one piece and can’t be posed open without surgery. A surgery which I do not plan on performing.
A pilot in there would be a plus
I’m working on a Mitsubishi Raiden for the Japanese model build. I have the cockpit about ready to close up.
Working on trying to finish up two projects in the last three days.
Decals on the Type 61
Decals and Berlin invasion markings airbrushed on the ISU-152
Both tanks look fantastic Greysnake. That Type 61 is a rare kit and that ISU-152 is such a “Beast”
I like the Berlin beast,I did a JS-2 dio a couple of years ago,its good to keep those markings sloppy, and lotsa dust.
Got my Crusader track lengths done…these Panzerwerk Design printed tracks are da bomb! Going to attempt to build this camouflaged Crusader…
My not so usually tidy workbench is wall-to-wall with a 1/32nd scale1932 Plymouth Roadster (now there’s a coincidence). I build ships, armor, airplane and auto’s, but I think auto’s are the most challenging because the sequence of events to complete the models require the most work and concentration. Think of the foot bone’s connected to the ankle bone, the ankle bone’s connected to the leg bone, and etc. 1/32 is not a usual scale for me and it sure is tiny.
About to do a once overover on Tamiays’s 1/48th M5A1 Stuart.
Then I’ll start to work on the figure which im dreading haha.
Figure painting is my kryptonite…
Butz, that Stuart looks incredible! Well done!
Thank you so much for the compliment Mr Tom! Much appreciated!
I did a search within FSM and didn’t see anything at quick glance but is there a figure painting tutotial for dummies? Haha
This is one part of the hobby that is my kryptonite…
scalemodeler66 that Death Star is so cool. It’d be perfect as a desk top decoration.
demolition, is that the Duster body shell from the Tom Daniels’ kit?
Cool little kit there
Totally agree Mr. Tom… it will find a place on or near my bench.
Thank you Anthony…It was a easy kit, but it was fun.
The Raiden is coming together quickly now. It’s too bad the engine is totally hidden in the cowl. It would be fun to add some details from scratch.
Next up: Tamiya’s Grumman Wildcat.
