what colors to mix to get gunmetal

Hi ! iam from india were modelling paints are scarce
i would like to know what colors to mix to get Gunmetal
i have silver black and brown i mixed silver and black and lil browm for it but not satisfied can any body help me

hi redeto , myself are using gunmetal from the jar but came across when building a bike , it says for metalic grey (gunmetal?) use 20% black (gloss do not say) and 80% of silver. hope this will help you further [:D]

I’ve found that the pigment in most gunmetal paint is too large. I always paint the item dark gray and then rub it with graphite from a lead pencil. Looks good to me! [^]

I agree with Pete. Only I rub the pencil lead against a sand paper and apply the powder with a brush. Should look like gunmetal.
