Weiight for 1/32 Tamiya F-4c 1/32 scale !!!! HELP!

Does this monster need WEIGHT in the NOSe…
need to know…NOw…
and IF YES…
how MUCH???
Sure is puurrrrdy…so far…

No weight is needed on any of the 1/32 scale F-4’s by Tamiya. They balance out perfectly.

If, for some reason, wheight is required (I’ve seen tailsitters in even the best kits), try a few pennies. Can’t beat the price!

All of the F-4 kits I have dealt with will all sit on their gear without weight. If you are ever concerned but wether you need weight or not, try taping all the major components together, set an exacto underneath the model inline with the main gear and see which way it tilts. If it tilts forward, you’re all set, if not add weight to the front.

eagle334 has the best way of finding out how your model will sit. There is no better
way of doing it.

You can also dry fit the kit together (including the gear) and tape weight to the nose to see exactly how much you may need, if any.

But no F-4 kit should need weight, it’s basic physics at work (to the modeler’s advantage!) with this bird. I’ve built a few F-4’s (all as a young lad) and I was always impressed with the fact that they never needed weight.
