Has anyone tried to weather armor vehicles with tempra paint, if so, how?
Any feedback appreciated.
Thanks

hmmm
.
Classic Tempera paint is egg based & is intended for plaster walls (?)
.
Kid’s Tempera paint is usually water based & looks & feels like wet chalk, & dries horribly.
Save it for colouring groundwork.

Try searching for weathering in this forum, as artist’s quality oils, enamels, weathering powders, non-oil based pastel chalks are all used sucessfully.
There was a article in Finescale not too terribly long ago about using tempura paints for weathering aircraft Ill dig through and see if I can find it. Maybe someone will post it before I find it. On a side note I tried using them once a AC and was happy with the results.
Its the February 2005 issue guess it was awhile ago.
