This book is always a great starting point. It may be old now and not part of many of the current fads, but it’s still a solid go to.

I strongly concur with Stik and Bill. However, there is a Youtube site that I strongly recommend. It is Andy’s Hobby Headquarters, where he teaches all kinds of weathering and chipping techniques in his builds. He does have a video for the Tamiya “Easy Eight” as well.
Check it out. You won’t be disappointed!

The Shep Paine book is still a valuable source of information. Probably one of the best overall armor modeling books available.
And it makes for great Class 1 download reading material.

I’m giving weathering with oils a try, and found Abteilung 502/AK’s book on the subject to be helpful (and cheaper on their website than eBay or Amazon, even with shipping).
