I was wondering if anybody know’s the easiest way to create a water feature for a diorama? I have seen EZ water and wondered if this was any good? Other ways I have seen are resin, plaster of paris, painted glass/perspex and even clear plastic bag with painted area beneath, confused to say the least…
I have had good luck with the two part clear casting resin and woodland scenics water effects for waves and movement…have heard the ez water is a pain and a mess…good luck!



Personally i made a dio with this tutorial as a reference:

It uses Plaster of paris poured into a frame with crumbled aluminum foil attached to it to create waves and ripples. The bowwaves were done with putty and modelling clay. This is what i came up with:
