Warhammer 40K

Here are some Warhammer 40K guys that i’ve put together. The two Spacemarine armys I used to play, and the other random guys I purchased just to paint. Didn’t want to steal Cosmic J’s miniatures thread so I started this one.

Ultramarines Army

Dark Angels Army

Random figures

Tyranid

Ultramarine Terminator

Dark Angel Assault Marine

Dark Angels Ravenwing Speeder

Dark Angels Ravenwing Bike

Tau Trooper

There’s a lot of neat stuff there FastasEF. The speeder and the bike are neat. As you know, I’m partial to the Tau Trooper, and I surely would not want to meet that Tyranid face to face… [:O]

Looken good!

On a side note- You may want to re-base your terminators, as the new ones have a bigger base and the new size has some advantages over the old ones. Just some friendlly advice from a fellow Dark Angels player. [:D]

Hey, thanks for the info! I also noticed that the Terminators are cast in plastic now, still don’t think they are any cheaper, lol.

Wow, nice work FastasEF! I can tell that those kits and paints have alittle age to them too, im thinking about two years ago right? If not, I still think you did a great job on e’m!

Thanks! 2 years ago at the very least. Most were about … 7-8 years ago, lol.

Seven to eight years! Man, those are some old 40k. figures [:O]! But of course, there are older ones before that even too!

haha, yea, those are like 3rd edition figures. My sets have similar ones since I started playing the game in high school (long…LONG time ago). The new plastic termis are huge and the crappy part is that the arms are not interchangeable with the old ones (they are longer with more upper arm length). I got a bunch of the new bits to fully equip my deathwing army but never got to them cuz of the differences and that was like two years back. Now I just want to sell them off with all those other armies that I no longer have time to paint or battle with.

LOL, I find this quite funny. I am an armor guy, but was home on leave for a month back stateside. My cousin’s husband gave my 16 YO brother a small army of warhammer 40k ultra marines. some painted, some not… I dont know exactly what they were, he mentioned a commander of the marines was one of them… many were pewter or lead… an equal amount were plastic…

anyhow, I helped him put together a squad of Beakies and the guys at the game shop were shocked at how old they were.

I spent quality time with my brother who I rarely see by helping him paint his warhammer figures, normally I would tease the Sci-fi guys but those were really cool troops and I got a lot of practice in for figure painting.

took me two days to paint a sergeant, it took him that time to paint the beak squad.

if it werent so expensive I would start playing.
