Vickers and Lewis machine guns

I am building a 1/6 scale of the British SE5a Scout. The full scale was armed with a modified Vickers machine gun, and a Lewis gun on a Foster mount.

Williams Brothers used to produce scale kits for these two guns, but have gone out of business.

So, I am trying to locate any detailed photos, drawings, plans, articles - basically, any information to assist me in accurately scratch building these items in 1/5 or 1/6 scale.

Any help appreciated.

First off-- a site with some 3D models that a few friends of mine were developing:

OK-- here is a site that has some scale models of it for sale-- not sure which as I can’t read the language:

Another couple sites for pics of the Vickers:

And the Lewis:

A Google search brings up lots of pics-- butmany of them are of the infantry version of the guns…not sure if there was a difference…

Air Age Publications, the folks who do Model Airplane News, have a book “Scale Aircraft Drawings, Volume 1, World War I”. It has the Lewis, Vickers & lots of good old yester-year drawings of WW1 aircraft. Inexpensive & worth every penny.

I took this at the Curtiss museum last year. Hope it helps.
